10 Craterlets revealed. Left to Right: My Plato,
my Plato w/arrows, NASA Plato.
Imaged
9-8-01 with AP 155, Nikon CP950, UO 12.5mm Ortho, 2.5X Powermate. Stacked images
using AstroStack.
My purpose here was solely to see how many craterlets this
image would reveal. The 4 main craterlets are clearly resolved as craters, 3
more craterlets are also revealed as craters but you have to look carefully to
see them (you can tell by their shadows falling on the right wall just like on
the 4 main craterlets). Another 3 craterlets appear only as dots for a grand
total of 10 (if you're generous :-).
