Dear Gregory,
It looks pretty good to us. Incidentally, the predicted position for the date of your observation
based on the van den Bos orbit of 1960 is 5.43 arcsecs and 130.0 degrees.

Gentlemen,
Arne suggested that I check with you about this possible "pup" imaged with a digital camera. We are
trying to verify that Arpad has or has not imaged the
Sirius companion.

Here is a link to Arpad's site with all of the details:

Any thoughts or if you could point us in the right direction we would be most appreciative.

Thanks in advance,
Gregory

Gregory,
Looks like a detection to me, but I am not an expert
on that system. You might check with the double-star
folks at USNO-DC:

Hi Arne,
I am sorry to bother you privately but I was wondering whether you could point me or my colleague in the right
direction towards confirming his imaging of the
pup with a digital camera.

Here is the link:

http://home.talkcity.com/PassportPl/csillagkep/APsi.html

He would like to try and confirm whether or not that
he has in fact captured the elusive puppy.

Thanks in advance,
Gregory Pruden
